This is our company logo. The symbol is an ancient American surveyor’s benchmark from the Aztec city of Tepeapulco in Northern Mexico.
This rock-carved petroglyph was utilized in the urban planning of Tepeapulco. One such benchmark was placed in the center of the city where the temple was always situated and this particular benchmark was carved on the horizon peaks some distance away. These two points formed an axis, which was aligned eleven degrees east of north, and aligned with the rising of the star Quetzalcoatl, our Venus, at this latitude. The city streets were then oriented on the axis so that the temple would always have an unobstructed view of Quetzalcoatl.
